Hand-Forged Damascus Steel Gut Hook Hunting Knife – Oak, Honeycomb Mosaic & Walnut Handle TKT-8
Hand-Forged Damascus Steel Gut Hook Hunting Knife – Oak, Honeycomb Mosaic & Walnut Handle
Designed specifically for the field, this hand-forged Damascus steel gut hook hunting knife from Titan International Knives is a purpose-built tool for hunters who process their own game. The blade combines a classic drop point profile with a precision gut hook on the spine — the hook is designed to open the abdominal cavity of harvested game cleanly and efficiently, without risking puncture of the stomach or intestines. It's a detail that separates a general-purpose outdoor knife from a true hunting knife, and it's executed here in the same hand-forged Damascus steel as the main blade.
The Damascus pattern runs a dual formation — tight concentric raindrop circles across the upper blade transitioning into flowing wave lines toward the edge — all acid-etched to a sharp contrast finish. The blade geometry features a full curved belly for slicing and a controlled drop tip for caping and detail work.
The handle is built across three sections of natural material. A warm honey-toned oak fills the upper and lower sections, with pronounced open grain that provides natural grip texture. A dark hexagonal honeycomb mosaic inlay sits at the center — a geometric composite panel in charcoal, black, and gold tones that provides both visual contrast and a natural thumb registration point during grip. Two Titan red-and-gold medallions and brass pins complete the handle hardware.
Intended for lawful hunting and outdoor use by adults 18 years of age or older. Please review your local and state laws regarding fixed-blade knife carry before purchase.

Care Instructions:
After each use in the field, clean both the main blade edge and the gut hook thoroughly with a damp cloth, then dry immediately. Pay particular attention to the interior of the gut hook, where debris can collect — a soft brush works well for clearing it. Apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil or camellia oil to the full blade, including the hook, to prevent rust. Clean the handle with a dry cloth and avoid prolonged water exposure. The oak scales can be periodically treated with a small amount of linseed or tung oil to maintain the grain. Store outside any sheath when not in active use.
